Develop new means for the collection of standardized structured data both for the Electronic Healthcare Record and for the constitution of cohorts and clinical trials.
- Propose new models of clinical data warehouses and of integration platforms for complex and multi-scale healthcare data;
- Develop new methods including graphics and new consultation tools, visualization, synthesis and exploitation of clinical or epidemiological data and medical knowledge;
- Develop decision-making methods for research and patients care, able to rely on electronic data records and on knowledge bases easy to maintain.

Engineering health information. Methods and tools for the acquisition, modeling and formalization of knowledge for e-health

Design methods and tools for the development and evaluation of terminological and ontological resources in health.
- Develop Web services for accessing data processing tools on exploited resources and strive to define a micro-formats allowing access to the data in the context of the "Web of data";
- Scale representation of data models to take into account the specificities of the field of health (data and multimodal knowledge, multi-scale, temporal, spatial 2D and 3D) and semantically annotate these data with the resources built to enable their integration;
- Participate in the development of new international repositories of Health Informatics (information, terminologies and ontologies in health models), valuing the French work in international cooperation and ensure the alignment of French solutions on the most advanced solutions in the world.
